Micropaleontology, Paleoceanography, Paleoclimatology

Current Research

I am currently focusing on the Paleocene/Eocene Thermal Maximum (PETM) for sediments recovered from Demerara Rise (west Equatorial Atlantic) and Kerguelen Plateau (Southern Indian Ocean) (see links below) by the Oceaning Drilling Program (ODP), and trying to look into the nannoplankton's responses to the paleoceanographic changes associated with the PETM in different settings. My approaches include micropaleontology, stable isotope, and geostatistics.
