Fluvial erosion of a flat continental shelf

Fluvial erosion of a flat continental shelf. The slope and dimensions of the shelf are similar to the Atlantic shelf in front of Virginia, whereas the incoming river has discharge and sediment load comparable to the Delaware River. The simulation utilizes a sinusoidal curve for 20000 years with minimum elevation below the continental slope. The river is captured during low water stands by a shallow canyon localized on the lower shelf.
